A side view with both leg heights, their exact positions and why the top tilts slightly.
18 illustrated steps
Cut and sand the boards, then drill and attach the legs, with clear photos beside every leg step.
Finish, decals & care
Painting team colors, sealing for outdoor play, folding, storing and staying safe, plus print-ready files for all four official tabletop decals, in both color versions.

Included with the guide
The official table decals, in two versions.
Your download comes with print-ready files for all four official tabletop designs: the hand, HAN, TIS and the tennis ball. Each comes in two color versions, so you choose which side of the court is blue and which is red. Have them printed, wrap them over your tables, and your set looks like the real thing.
Tables 1 to 4 in court order. HAN and TIS sit side by side, so the court spells HANTIS. Want your own design instead? We make custom decals.
What you get
- 8 print-ready files at 150 dpi: one per table, in both versions
- Sized 1225 × 775 mm (48.25 × 30.5 in): 1 in bigger than the top all round, so each decal wraps over the edge
- Brick right to the edge, so there's no white border to line up
- How to apply them, step by step, in the guide
Getting them printed
- Any large-format printer that does laminated vinyl can print them
- We recommend Printastic in the US and Easy Signs in Australia. See what to order
- Printing is paid to the printer and isn't included in the $49
- Laminated plywood holds a decal best

Questions
Build guide FAQ
Do I need these tables to play?
No. Hantis works on any four tables of the same size (rule 1.0.1): cafeteria tables, folding tables or classroom desks. The plans are for people who want a set in the official shape. See the setup guide.
How hard is it?
If you've used a circular saw, a jigsaw and a drill, you can build these. Every leg step has clear photos, and the drawings give every measurement in inches and millimeters.
What will I need to buy?
Plywood, folding table legs, straps and screws. The guide includes a full shopping list with quantities for one table and for a set of four.
Do the decals come with the guide?
Yes. The download includes print-ready files for all four official tabletop decals in two color versions (blue tables on the left and red on the right, or the other way round), sized to wrap over the table edge. Printing isn't included: have them printed on laminated vinyl by a large-format printer. We recommend Printastic in the US and Easy Signs in Australia (what to order).
Can you design decals for our school, church or camp?
Yes. We design custom decals for schools, churches, camps, clubs and businesses: your logo, mascot, colors, sponsors or anything else you want, for official Hantis tables or the tables you already have. It's $79 with unlimited revisions, and you get print-ready files for any large-format printer. Request a design to get started.
How do I get the file?
Right after checkout you'll get a download link on screen and by email. It's a PDF you keep, and the download includes a zip with all eight decal files.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Email us within 14 days for a full refund, no questions asked. See the refund policy.
Can I share it?
Print it for your own build as often as you like. Please don't share, upload or resell the file. Building for a school or club? One copy covers that build.
